World Swimsuit Maldives 2015 Diary - Day 13

They say the number thirteen is lucky for some, and today it proved that way for the World Swimsuit team who were treated to perfect weather and two incredible international models working their magic in the Maldives.

Samantha Hoopes Swimsuit

Samantha Hoopes and Solveig Mork have both appeared in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and they showed just what makes them such massive hits internationally as they strutted their stuff in front of photographer Gavin Bond's lens.  Our selection of Behind the Scenes images look good enough to go straight into the pages of a magazine thanks to the sensational light, blue water and white sand!

Samantha Hoopes told the team that she had dreamed about coming to the Maldives from before she was even a model and the Paradise Island Resort looked a picture in the brilliant sunshine. The team got off to an early start and with the sunshine never letting up for one second we were able to enjoy a full day of shooting Samantha and Solveig.

There was a flurry of activity with both models throwing themselves into their shoots and also spending time with our video crews to film eye-popping content for the World Swimsuit TV special that will appear on South Africa's premier sports channel Supersport as well super sexy short clips for the World Swimsuit YouTube channel.

Finding the most beautiful locations to shoot and waiting for the ideal light conditions can at times be a stop-start affair, but on a perfect day like today with two of the top models in the world working in tandem, the World Swimsuit team really showed their true colours.  The team worked tirelessly from the early hours of the morning getting hair and make-up ready and working right through breakfast and lunch to ensure that every possible minute was filled with incredible footage.  In temperatures that reached well north of 95°F (35°C) at times it really was a special effort from the entire team!

Solveig Mork wrapped up her story today and with superb swimsuits and super-sexy shots throughout her time with us, we can't wait to see the final pictures when the magazine hits the shelves!

It was a lot of hard work, but there was also plenty of time for fun and laughter with the lighter moments sending everyone to bed with sun-kissed bodies and tired minds to refuel for another early start tomorrow.  Thankfully we all have wonderful supplements and products from headline sponsor GNC to help us refuel and recharge before getting back into the action tomorrow morning!
